To provide equitable service to all users and protect the integrity of the service, Thuraya is implementing a Fair Use Policy (FUP) on Unlimited Plans. Upon reaching the FUP usage threshold, the original maximum bandwidth will be throttled down to the "throttle down bandwidth" applicable for the price plan unless the purchase of any of the available data bundles shown in the Calling Rates section.
- Unlimited 144K plan throttled from 144 kbps to 32 kbps.
- Unlimited 444K plan throttled from 444 kbps to 64 kbps.
- Unlimited 1GB plan throttled from 444 kbps to 32 kbps.

Tariff Details
- Post-paid Thuraya IP airtime can be used in any of the 140 countries in Thuraya's coverage zone
- Complete billing information must be provided before a SIM card can be activated on our Thuraya IP plans
- UK customers must complete Section B: Direct Debit Mandate in the Thuraya IP contract
- US customers must complete the Credit Card Verification link, which can also be found Section C: Billing Information in the Thuraya IP contract
- Customers outside the UK and USA must provide a refundable Security Deposit, which can be found in Section D: Billing Information.
- Our Rest of the World customers must also read the terms and conditions before providing their Security Deposit, found in Section E: Security Deposit Terms and Conditions
