Thuraya SIM Card - IP Prepaid

The easiest and most flexible way to use your Thuraya IP Terminal is with a pre-paid SIM card and pre-paid airtime vouchers. No monthly contract is required and pre-paid airtime can be used in any of the 140 countries in Thuraya's coverage zone. The Thuraya IP Pre-Paid plan offers simplicity and transparency with flat pricing across the Thuraya coverage area.

• SIM card is initially valid for 30 days effective the first call
• Airtime voucher validities are shown in the 'Calling Rates' tab below
• SIM card is deactivated if first call is not made within 6 months of activation
• Maximum SIM validity is capped at 12 months regardless of the number of refills made.
• Streaming IP services not available with Pre-Paid SIM cards

The burn rate is 5 units per MB eg. 25 units=5MB. Each refill adds its respective SIM validity extension from the expiry date. Maximum SIM validity is capped at 12 months regardless of the number of refills made. Standard IP traffic shall be charged based on 100 Kilobytes data block. Standard Pre-Paid Thuraya IP service provides always on, shared bandwidth, best effort data service up to 444 Kbps. Usage is charged on the amount of data sent and received (in megabytes).

Please note that upon requesting activation of your prepaid airtime you are agreeing that we can start providing your network services before the end of the usual statutory cancellation period and that by doing so, you lose your right to cancel your purchase of the prepaid airtime or request a refund. As a result, please check that you have ordered the correct airtime for your handset or terminal. Please refer to our terms and conditions for full information. Please note whilst our Thuraya SIM cards are compatible with older Hughes phones such as the 7100/7101, these are end of life and we do not offer any technical support once a SIM is active.
