We offer a range of pre-paid airtime options for use on Inmarsat’s BGAN and IsatHub products. This airtime can be used on all popular BGAN and IsatHub terminals including those manufactured by AddValue, Hughes and Thrane & Thrane.
Your prepaid BGAN airtime purchase will include low-balance alerts and historic traffic reports if requested.
Due to a recent issue with and obsolescence of the GPS module of the BGAN EXPLORER 300, 500, and 700 terminals are no longer able to connect to the Inmarsat network. Currently, only terminals manufactured between 2004 and 2007 are affected. However, all other BGAN EXPLORER 300, 500 and 700 terminals will also be impacted in the coming years and will cease to function.
To accommodate for this situation, Cobham Satcom has introduced a terminal exchange initiative for the 300, 500, and 700 terminals. The program allows you to upgrade to the new BGAN EXPLORER 510 and 710 terminals, which are compatible with future updates placed between June 9th and September 1st, 2023.
