The IsatPhone Link (for land use) and FleetPhone (for maritime use) are global fixed satellite phone services based on the award-winning IsatPhone Pro handheld satellite phone. In a time of distress, a seafarer need only dial '505' - selected for its similarity to 'SOS' - to immediately contact a Maritime Rescue Co-ordination Centre (MRCC). This service is designed primarily for smaller vessels that do not require GMDSS-compliant equipment.
