Our GTCTrack app has been developed for a range of uses – primarily it is installed on a smart device so that the device can be tracked and locations sent back to the ops team. Its secondary function is to give managers access to their assets locations and status while on the move. The GTCTrack app offers the ability to send and receive messages to and from assets on the same account.

GTCTrack is free to download and a free 30 day trial is available. After this period a monthly fee applies which varies depending on the features you require.

Everywhere App

The Everywhere App takes global team communication to the next level and works in conjunction with Everywhere inReach devices. When paired with these devices the app provides global connectivity and communication and can also be used with WiFi or mobile data services to communicate with personnel, worldwide.

XGate App

XGate app has been developed by Global Marine Networks to provide an easy way to setup a satellite signal with your smart device. Used in conjunction with the RedPort WiFi Optimizer, the app allows emails and low res images to be compressed and sent in short bursts of data which can reduce costs by up to 85%. It also blocks other apps from unnecessarily using data via non-essential apps.

The XGate app is free to download and a subscription fee applies depending on how long you need the service active for.

Garmin Earthmate App

The Earthmate app is used to enhance usage of the Garmin inReach devices. The app allows you to send and receive text messages anywhere in the world when paired with an inReach device. Even without satellite signal you can utilise navigation features with Garmin TOPO mapping. In addition you can wirelessly sync your tracking and waypoint data to your smartphone or tablet, share your location and access online trip planning.

With the SPOT App, you can easily view your SPOT’s messages, track progress, or monitor assets. View tracking data and messages sent from SPOT trackers with GPS locations on a map. Additionally, if you have multiple devices on your SPOT account, these are available to view on The SPOT app.

Compatible devices include SPOT Gen4 Satellite Communicator, SPOT Trace Asset Tracker and SPOT X Personal Satellite Tracker.

There are two apps available for the Iridium GO! One is used to make and receive phone calls whilts the other offers an easy way to send and receive emails via satellite. The Iridium Mail app uses XGate technology (see below) to optimise the time spent making a data connection. This app works well with PredictWind allowing sailing users to obtain GRIB files. Also, this app is compatible with the XGate app.

Thuraya SatSleeve Hotspot App

The Thuraya SatSleeve Hotspot app can be used in connection with the SatSleeve Hotspot and SatSleeve+. Use the app in satellite mode to send emails, instant messages and make calls.

Thuraya Talk App

Thuraya Talk is a free app which allows you to benefit from reduced calling costs to Thuraya satellite phones. Ideal for those who usually rely on landlines or mobile phones to call Thuraya sat phones.

EXPLORER Connect App

The Cobham EXPLORER Connect App is used to manage and configure the Cobham Explorer 510 and 710 terminals. Users can make and receive calls with their built-in satellite phone and open the web interface for the terminal, using ‘Terminal Access’. Also, you can easily view signal strength with the ‘Pointing’ section whilst access the terminal status in the ‘Dashboard’.

The Cobham Explorer 510 and Cobham Explorer 710 BGAN terminals are both compatible with this app.

BGAN Pointer App

The BGAN Pointer app is a great tool for use not only with Inmarsat BGAN terminals but Inmarsat handsets as well. This handy app shows you in which direction the nearest Inmarsat satellite is located using the camera on your phone. You can then point the equipment in that direction to obtain the best signal. It is particularly helpful for new users to identify what might obstruct the line of sight to the Inmarsat satellites.
