Description
Standard Horizon HX300E is a rugged, buoyant and compact handheld VHF device with excellent battery life. HX300E also has the ability to charge via USB and supports ATIS functionality.

ATIS Functionality
The HX300E supports ATIS (Automatic Transmitter Identification System) allowing vessels to be identified in the case of emergency when sailing on inland waterways in many areas of mainland Europe.
Buoyant
The HX300E is buoyant and will float face up if dropped overboard. If the device does come into contact with water the red LED strip along the bottom will light up making it easy for the user to identify in the water. This feature will work even if the device is not powered on.
Battery and Charging
The HX300E transmitter provides a full 5 Watt of transmit power and also is selectable to 1 Watt to assist the user in ensuring maximum battery life, with the option to improve performance as and when needed. Battery life is displayed on the VHF Radio's display.
Display
The HX300E has a bright backlit display, to increase visibility especially when using the VHF radio at night. Also, the HX300E has large buttons, to increase usability.
Warranty
As with all Standard Horizon products the HX300E comes with an excellent 3 year warranty.

Features

VOICE
Stay only a voice call away from friends, family or colleagues even when in the remotest of areas.

SOS
Once the emergency button is pressed on your beacon, your location will be sent to a rescue coordination centre via satellite. This SOS is then diverted to emergency services near to your location to aid rescue. The location will be continuously sent for a minimum of 24 hours.
