Description
The HX210 is a VHF handheld built for marine use radio that is buoyant and waterproof. The VHF radio also had dedicated emergency channels, automatic strobe light activation and large display.

Buoyant
This VHF handheld features a Compact design which is light enough to float face up if dropped in the water. This VHF Radio is waterproof in up to 1 meter for 30 minutes (Submersible IPX7 Waterproof rating).
Automatic Strobe Light Activation
Another great feature of the HX210 VHF Handheld is that if the radio is submerged in water an emergency strobe light is automatically activated, even if the device is powered off. The strobe can be reconfigured to flash on and off, flash SOS, or set to stay on continuously.
Allocated Channels
In addition to the dedicated Channel 16 for distress calls in an emergency, the HX210 has allocated USA, International and Canadian channels.
Display
The HX210 boasts one of the largest displays in a compact and affordable handheld VHF. This large high resolution dot matrix LCD display makes the information easy to read while a backlight ensures information can also be easily read at night.
Batteries and Charging
The HX210 operates with high capacity 1850 mAh Li-Ion batteries.
Expanded Receiver
For music lovers the HX210 even has an expanded receiver allowing you to tune in to your favourite FM radio station. The radio will receive FM broadcast bands between 76 MHz to 108 MHz.
Warranty
The Standard Horizon HX210 offers a 3 year warranty which also includes water damage.
