Blue Sky Network’s complete aviation tracking and monitoring system comprised of the HawkEye 7200A and HawkEye 100A transmits real-time geolocation alerts and operational event notifications, as well as detecting in-flight anomalies. Its Bluetooth capabilities allow for satellite voice communication and two-way messaging. Users can even sync up their smartphone or tablet to use the HawkEye Link mobile application in order to make phone calls, send and receive emails, preconfigured short codes, and custom forms.
The HawkEye 7200A and 100A system has been designed to meet the hardware requirements for the International Civil Aviation Organization’s (ICAO) Global Aeronautical Distress Safety System (GADSS) that allow for flight tracking and automated distress event reporting. The system also meets the contractual tracking requirements for the U.S. Forest Service, the Canadian Forest Service, and the United Nations.
Key Features
Geofencing Capabilities
The device connects directly with SkyRouter and supports advanced variable response (AVR) geofencing. Create radius or polygonal fences and trigger responses and alerts.
QPOS Functionality
Let the Quick Position Button quickly alert your authorised personnel/contacts to your whereabouts.
Global Iridium Coverage
Iridium’s network, with its 66 low earth orbiting (LEO) satellites, supercharges connection times and provides true global coverage, so you know where your important assets are at all times.
Flexible Voice Integration
Call from your smart device, connect an aviation headset, integrate with a third-party audio panel, or connect a POTS phone to access the Iridium voice services.
Automated Anomaly Detection
The HawkEye 7200A and 100A relies on aircraft power to track continuously throughout the entirety of the flight. In the event of an in-flight anomaly, the system will automatically report these anomalies and increase the frequency of data transmission and location updates.
Configurable, Automatic Alerts
Tailor all your communication and event alerts from ‘normal’, ‘abnormal’, and ‘distressed’ alert types to fall in line with ICAO guidelines. All event alerts can be fully customized to aircraft safety guidelines dependent on your flight operations.
