How you can prepare
If you already own a sat phone or hotspot we share our top tips for ensuring your communications setup is ready for action.
1. Test your satellite phone

Remember the correct calling procedure - outside with a clear line of sight to the sky.
2. Check your balance
Check the SIM card has sufficient balance and validity by calling the free automated system. Alternatively you can contact us for balance inquiries.

3. Store your equipment correctly
Fully charge your batteries and then detach from the equipment before placing in storage to reduce battery drainage.
